You will receive a confirmation either by phone, fax or email. Lifelearn reserves the right to cancel a course, in which case a full course refund only will be paid. All other costs will be paid by the registrant. For registrations that you wish to cancel, a 90% refund less deposit will be issued up to 60 days prior to the course. No refunds will be issued after that date except under special circumstances, when the maximum refund is 50%.

In-house cytologic evaluation can generate immediately useful clinical information. The veterinary technician can play a vital role in both the processing and analysis of cytology samples.

This course is designed for veterinary technicians who have completed the introductory "Cytology for Technicians". This session includes processing and examination of joint fluid, lymph nodes, bone marrow and neoplastic samples. Special emphasis will be put on cellular identification and description, and the detection of infectious organisms. Discussion will centre around high quality projected images and examination of smears on double-headed microscopes.
